Help for Speaker Cleaner: Clear Waves on iPhone and iPad.

How Speaker Cleaner works

The app plays controlled sound waves through your device speaker. Those tones are intended to help move water that may be trapped around the speaker. Results vary. Speaker Cleaner does not repair hardware or guarantee that all water will be removed.

Cleaning sessions

Use Auto Clean for a guided session, or Manual Frequency to play a chosen tone. Keep media volume at a comfortable level. Do not use headphones during cleaning — the sound needs to play from the device speaker.

If you leave the app or switch features, playback stops. That is expected.

Speaker Test

Speaker Test plays short tones and asks what you heard. It is a listening check, not a professional diagnosis.

Decibel Meter and microphone access

The Decibel Meter estimates surrounding sound level. It is not a laboratory-grade measurement. Microphone access is used only for this feature, and only after you start the meter.

If access is denied, open iOS Settings → Speaker Cleaner and allow the microphone, then return to the app and try again. Cleaning, Manual Frequency, and Speaker Test do not need the microphone.

Ads

The free version may show ads in non-critical areas. Ads should not appear during onboarding, on first launch, or while Auto Clean, Manual Frequency, Speaker Test, or the Decibel Meter is running. If an ad fails to load, the app continues to work.

History

History stays on your device. It does not include recordings. You can clear it from Settings in the app.
